Rev. Michael Zabiran, Worship Pastor

Born in Austria to Belarusian-Ukrainian parents, Michael always wondered why God brought Him to Edmonton. His family immigrated and settled in New Sarepta, Alberta. He had a solid Christian home, and a very supportive Evangelical Missionary church. Michael moved to Edmonton to study political science at MacEwan University but God closed every door and pointed him right toward the ministry. Michael graduated from Vanguard College with a degree in Pastoral Studies and Music Ministry. He is married to Jillian and he brings passion and excitement to our congregation as the Worship and Community Life Pastor. ‘I couldn’t ask to be in a better place.’

Miranda 2015-2

Miranda Doroshuk, Administrative Assistant

After four and a half years of university, Miranda is excited to be bringing her education to the administrative staff and applying it to everyday tasks. She graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee in December 2014 and holds two degrees: Public Relations and Music, with an emphasis in voice. One of the greatest opportunities she had while in university was when she was selected to be in a choir to sing for the 57th Presidential Inauguration in Washington, D.C. Miranda has an interest and passion for nearly anything artistic and creative: fine arts, singing, photography, cake decorating, event planning and learning languages, to name a few. She is thrilled to be working with the staff at our church and looks forward to finding out what God has in store for her life through this opportunity.
