Our walk with Jesus Christ is a long and winding road of trials and truth. The goal is to become more like Him through the teaching and encouragement of the Holy Spirit. Christians require a strong foundation for their faith and ministry is essential to supporting the believer in his or her growth as a disciple of Jesus.
Gospel Centre welcomes all who wish to know and develop a personal friendship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and encourages them in their growth through fellowship and ministry. Join us!
“Our future is dependent on and will be revealed through prayer.” – Pastor Murray Coughlan
Pre-Service Prayer – We believe that any move of God must be preceded by prayer. Gather with us at 9:30 p.m. every Sunday before the service to pray for God to meet us during the service.
Behind the Scenes Prayer – We believe that any move of God must be preceded by prayer. Every Sunday a team of praying people meets during the service to back the service in prayer.
Altar Prayer Teams – Time is given during each service for people to come to the altar to receive prayer for their needs from members of the altar prayer team.
Intercessory Prayer – Join us on Tuesday mornings at 11:00 a.m. for one hour of prayer as we intercede for prayer requests that have been received.
Prayer Chain Requests – When urgent requests are phoned into the office, prayer chain leaders are contacted and, in a matter of minutes, people are praying for the need at hand.
Prayer Summit – Six times a year, we gather to pray for personal needs and the needs of our congregation and our world. We encourage everyone to make this the one most important gathering you attend that week.
Mothers Room – A calm, quiet room is available for women to nurse and comfort their infants during the service, with audio to hear the service.
Nursery – Our staffed nursery is available during the service for infants up to 30 months. Parents are also able to change their babies in the connected washroom.
L.A.M.B.S. (Learning About My Blessed Saviour) – We offer a caring environment for our 2-1/2 and 3-year-olds to explore the love of Jesus on a level they can appreciate.
Kinderchurch – A class for children ages 4 to Kindergarten begins at 10:30 a.m. (before the message) where they have the opportunity to learn Christian truths at their own level.
KIDSChurch – A service for children Grades 1 to 6 runs concurrently with the adult worship service. Each week, emphasis is given to worship, prayer and Bible-based teaching.
KTC (Kids Theatre Company) – Each year, children in Grades 1-6 are given the opportunity to worship God through singing and acting in musical presentations.
Merge – Merge Youth is about recognizing where you are so you can move forward into the place where God is calling you. None of us have arrived; we look to connect with God in a tangible way that will propel us into greater relationship with Him. Merge is a diverse group of young people who are looking for more – more in our life, more for others and more in our world. Join us as we look to ‘merge’ into God’s plan for our lives. Merge Youth is for ages 13-17 and meets Friday nights during the fall and winter semesters, and Wednesday nights during the summer. Contact Pastor Matthieu for more information: email@example.com

Small Groups – Gospel Centre is committed to providing opportunities for believers to grow in their faith and fellowship. We believe that this happens best in small, familiar settings. Information regarding small group locations is available through the church office.
J.O.Y. Fellowship – ‘Just Older Youth’, our seniors group for 50+, meets on the third Saturday of each month to enjoy food, special music, and guest speakers.
Church is more than a Sunday morning gathering. Church is about learning to be like Christ in community with others. We desire everyone in our congregation to belong to the close fellowship of a house church. A house church is a group of believers who meet a minimum of every two weeks (some meet more often), in addition to gathering for our weekly church services at our main campus. A house church is committed to engaging in 4 key elements:
DISCIPLESHIP: The ongoing process of learning and applying God’s truth.
FELLOWSHIP: A place for everyone to share their story and be a part of other people’s stories.
COMPASSION AND CARE: Walking through the ups and downs of life together.
MISSIONAL: Keeping the mission of Jesus in mind by reaching out and inviting others to experience the hope of new life found in Jesus.
Our house churches are as diverse as our church family. From ethnic based groups, and age related groups to life stage groups and more, we look forward to you joining us. For information about our house churches, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 780-484-0085.

Service and Support
Alpha – At least once a year, we host Alpha in our church, in schools, and in homes and workplaces. Alpha is designed to introduce people to the teachings and claims of Christ. Each week’s meeting starts with a meal and moves into a video presentation, followed by small group discussions. This is open to new believers, as well as those beginning their search for meaning to life.
Worship Team – Our worship teams combine God-centered worship with musical excellence to provide a contemporary worship experience. Their desire is to lead the congregation in expressing themselves in joyful praise to God and in cultivating God’s presence in every service.
Ushers and Greeters – Our ushers and greeters believe it is their ministry to ensure that every person who attends our services feels welcome. They offer each person a warm smile and a helpful hand.
Library – Our staffed library provides quality books and videos for adults and children.
Manna Bread Ministry – Thanks to the generous donation of Cobbs Bakeries, we make available bread and pastries to everyone following our Sunday worship service. We encourage people to take only what they need so that all can benefit, especially those in need. There is no cost.
